Okay Guys,
So I'm in a funk. My Boyfriend got laid off so we've been doing NOTHING but applying for jobs, that means no working out. I've gained a lot of weight too, I've been so stressed and worried. Stress kills when trying to lose weight and it is my definitely biggest enemy. So due to my recent slump, I've decided to do a Get Outta That Funk list.
First Off, Take a breath.
Everything's gonna be okay, you've lost some progress but that's okay, you can always get it back, and it happens to the best of us. Your problems will be there after a workout but you can also tackle them head on with a clear mind. Not sticking to your work out plan and getting off track is only going to make you feel worse and before you know it, you're spinning out of control. Working out will help you take your mind off your issues even if only for an hour. Relax, do something you enjoy and realize that all things happen for a reason, and everything will work out.

Take Care of Yourself.
Go take a nice long bath or shower, relax. Just focus on getting clean and unwinding. Do something nice for yourself like paining your nails or putting lotion on. Read a nice leisurely book and escape to another world for a bit. Put on a face of make up and do your hair if you're feeling not so hot. Feeling even just a little bit better will help you get back to normal.
Get Back to Your Routine Immediately.
Biologically, people feel better when their lives are structured. Clean the house. You will feel so much better after the house is clean and your chores are done. You're Not Gonna Feel Better Till you
Start getting back into your groove. It may be hard, but you know its true. Also, going to sleep early and waking up early will make your mind and your body refresh again.

Try Some New World Techniques.
So maybe other things haven't been working for you. Try yoga or aligning your chakras. You never know what will and won't benefit you, so why not try something you may consider strange?
Finally, Start Working Out Again,
Depending on how long you've been in a slump, this may be difficult. You may not be able to achieve where you left off. That's okay, slow progress is better than no progress.
You're Going To Be Okay.
